LGUs can also inspect how businesses price their products to ensure that they are following the suggested retail price.

The Naga City Price Coordinating Council conducts a series of surprise inspections to businesses to monitor their pricing of products following the suggested retail price. They are ordered to put price tags on products to prevent excessive pricing and guide local consumers.
