Local Government Units (LGUs) play an important role in our fight against COVID-19.

During these challenging times, LGUs need to arm themselves with one of our most powerful weapon against COVID-19: information.

LGU vs. COVID PH is an information portal designed to equip local government officials and staff with updates, innovations, and best practices for our battle against COVID-19. We strive to keep this updated so that LGUs can stay informed, be inspired, and continue to innovate.

The portal was first initiated by Golda and Caryl Benjamin as a Google Site after the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon, with support from volunteers: Ron Ranier Reyes, Kristine Licup, Theresa Maymay, and Leilani Solera.

To further increase the impact of the portal, it has been expanded and redesigned with technical and financial support from The Asia Foundation. Funding for this portal was supported by the Australian Government.

LGU vs COVID PH is created in cooperation with the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
