DepEd prepares for face-to-face classes

The Department of Education releases their plans for Philippine schools' transition to in-person classes.

In July 12, 2022, DepEd Secretary and Vice President Sara Duterte directed all public and private schools in the country to transition to five days of face-to-face classes beginning November 2. The following highlights their F2F plan:

DepEd Order 34, s. 2022

In preparation for the opening of classes for SY 2022-2023, the DepEd instructed public schools to conduct the following activities on the following dates:

- Enrollment from July 25, 2022 to August 22, 2022

- Brigada Eskwela from August 1-26, 2022

- Oplan Balik Eskwela on August 15, 2022

The DepEd also said that it will give schools ample time to slowly transition into in-person classes by implementing any of the following options until October 31, 2022:

- Five days of face-to-face classes

- Blended learning

- Full distance learning
