LGU Fellowship Program on
Social Cohesion and Resilience

The Asia Foundation and the Galing Pook Foundation, in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government, seek to strengthen and expand the community of practice on social cohesion and resilience.

The Fellowship Program on Social Cohesion and Resilience aims to support local government leaders to strengthen their effectiveness in driving transformative peace and development in their localities. The program intends to support LGUs in gaining and sharing knowledge from various peace and development initiatives to enable cohesive, inclusive, and resilient communities.

The Fellowship Program seeks to strengthen the community of practice among the fellows by providing a platform for collaborative and learning-focused approaches to local solutions to local violence and conflict and deeper shared learning on the major issues affecting social cohesion and resilience.
